Portugal finished the competition with a decisive victory after posting 160/6 and bowling Spain out for 103.
As captain of the Portuguese cricket team, Moises Henriques earned his maiden T20I century as Portugal defeated the Czech Republic by 91 runs using the DLS method. Portugal’s prospects of making it to the 2028 T20 World Cup have also improved as a result.
Christian Munoz-Mills, the captain of Spain, won the toss and decided to field; however, his bowlers were unable to stop Portugal’s batters throughout the innings. Portugal had won all four of their group-stage games prior to winning the championship, and the outcome completed their undefeated record.

Moises Henriques scored his first century for his home country after switching from Australia to Portugal. With 12 fours and seven sixes, the right-handed batsman amassed 111 runs off just 51 balls. Portugal scored 211 runs at the cost of six wickets in their 20 overs thanks to Henriques’ effort. Before the weather played a spoilsport, the Czech Republic’s reply was at 24 runs for the cost of five wickets in 8.5 overs. Portugal ultimately prevailed because, according to the DLS system, they were ahead by 91 runs.
